The Ticonderago County school system is planning to cut funding for The Eatery, a school-run restaurant that allows special-education students to get experience working in the food industry. The move will save the schools up to $50,000 a year. The school system seems to be comfortable cutting the 80 relationships The Eatery has with other Midville-area restaurants to get their special-needs students jobs.
